Inspired by the rich culture and vibrant artistry of San Miguel de Allende, this wedding invitation suite was designed to be both a keepsake and an experience. Rooted in tradition yet infused with modern elegance, every detail was carefully crafted to reflect the romance and charm of this historic Mexican destination.

The suite featured a hand-carved envelope stamp, pressed into natural-fiber paper for an artisanal touch, paired with a custom-designed envelope liner inspired by San Miguel’s iconic Otomi folk patterns and bold color motifs. The star of the suite was the die-cut papel picado invitation, a delicate hanging piece that mimicked the traditional Mexican paper art, intricately cut with the couple’s names and wedding details, creating a stunning first impression.

At the wedding reception, the papel picado theme carried through with custom hanging papel picado banners, filling the space with movement and festivity. Each guest was welcomed with a mini papel picado name card, echoing the intricate designs of the invitations, seamlessly tying together the entire wedding’s aesthetic.
